Pennant is excited to announce the upcoming release of GenS v2.0, ground-breaking software to take product support to a whole new level!

Pennant’s next generation of LSA/LPD technology GenS when combined with the R4i Suite, will transform Integrated Product Support requirements into a truly integrated secure digital capability. GenS is built on the latest international standards and specifications and backed by a dedicated multi-generational team of software developers and supportability engineers who are eager to deliver an incredible end user experience.

To celebrate the upcoming release of GenS v2.0, we welcome you to join Presenter, James St George, GenS & OmegaPS Suite Product Manager for a 5 Part webinar Series. Registration details are provided below.

Make the most of this opportunity and register today by clicking on the REGISTER links provided below.

Part 1: From OmegaPS to the next generation of LSA and IPS – GenS!

The addition of GenS into Pennant’s IPS software suite creates a data flow from engineering concept through service and into asset disposal. The GenS LSAR has a straight-line data transfer through to both Analyzer and the R4i Product suite.

A Standards agnostic repository allows GenS to store data in standardised tables, which are then usable by a range of supported international ILS Specifications and Standards.

Join us for a presentation on what you can expect in the next generation of Pennant’s LSA capability offering a streamlined approach to logistics data entry.

Part 2: GenS Element Manager (GEM)

The GenS Element Manager (GEM) allows the project team to define how they will use the desired standard, adding in specific Project guidance for individual fields of the Standard.

GenS administrators can allocate access to Projects on a user-by-user basis, allowing for a level of data control to specific personnel.

Once the Project Standard configuration has been finalised, the Export function allows users to convert the project to an Excel spreadsheet for reference during the LSA process.

Join us for an insight on how to configure the Project framework in GenS utilising the Element Manager, provide guidance to users with the Element direction, and assign users and user groups to Projects.

Part 3: GenS Standard Converter (GSC)

The Standard or Specification used when creating an LSA project is determined before the first piece of data is traditionally written. If the decision is made to change the required Standard or Specification after LSAR data has been compiled, the content traditionally must be reworked to align with the new Standard.

With the GenS Standard Converter, entire LSA Datasets can be converted between multiple Standards and Specifications used commonly throughout the world. The data is imported into the GenS Data Structure, and then the Standard is applied, allocating data to the appropriate Tables and Fields.

The Built-in Data Validation tool verifies that the data is in the correct format for the data fields, highlighting to the user in easy-to-read tables how the data is incorrect and enables users to edit the data to fit the required format.

Join us to see how the GenS Standard Converter can quickly and easily switch your LSAR data between standards, for fast and accurate transfer with a robust data validation tool, to ensure user confidence in the data quality.

Part 4: GenS Client (core features)

The GenS Client brings a clean, table-based interface to the user. A modular window-based GUI allows users to customise how their instance of GenS looks. Multiple screens and open windows for quick and easy data referencing inside GenS allows users to easily view multiple LSA tables for cross referencing.

The GenS inbuilt supporting documentation allows for easy reference to the data requirements of each table and field, along with the Project specific based guidance identified during the creation of the Project using GEM.

GenS also improves on OmegaPS digital file capability included in the LSAR, so that 2D/3D images, excel files, or PDF files can be easily referenced and previewed without requiring external storage. Making it quicker and easier to reference support documents or images during the LSA process.

The Calculations function allows users to target specific or general areas of the LSA data, with a clean, user friendly output of which calculations are run, what fields are modified, and the pre/post calculation values for verification.

Join us to see how the GenS Client is tailored to personalise as user’s workspace, while accessing the built-in functions in GenS.

Part 5: Structure (Configuration) Manager

GenS brings a drag-and-drop feature to creating your Asset’s Build Structure. Assign the LCN’s to the structure, then simply drag the applicable part from a list on the screen and drop it into the appropriate LCN. The links in the Table data are made automatically and any changes made to either the structure or the part, will update as necessary.

Join us to see how easily the GenS Structure Manager builds any product structure, along with applying variants and alternate parts.
